RECIPE

This exhibition focuses on different readings, sharing and artistic interpretation of recipes. Preparing for the show, the Hungarian chef István Akács was invited to come up with a recipe to share with the participating artists, which they would then use to create their artworks.

In the installation Burgers, Cookies and Maxwell, I work with the viscoelastic behaviour of asphalt and draw parallels with the process of cooking, where food is transformed by the application of heat. Experimenting with cooking-specific activities, I create sculptural works that present themselves as amorphous forms and highlight tactile qualities.
