Freier Kaffee und Kuchen/ Freie Plattform

The event, titled freier Kaffee und Kuchen and freie Plattform, was held in collaboration with Elena Koch as part of the ZENTRAL 6039 exhibition by the class of Hien at the Kunstpavillon and the Old Botanical Garden. In the first phase freier Kaffee und Kuchen, park visitors were invited to informal gatherings over coffee and cake, supported by specially designed foldable benches that served as meeting points.

The conversations that emerged in this open atmosphere formed the thematic core of the event. In the second phase, the freie Plattform, these topics were further explored through a curated program of readings, film screenings, and performances. The benches from phase one were transformed into a platform, creating both a physical and conceptual bridge between the phases.
